“Please help me, before I got promoted to management, I imagined being a manage a manager would solve all my problems at work. I imagined that I could get the employees to obey orders like robots. Now I am trying to use anchoring, state elicitation, rapport and my other skills to get them to form an image of me being a good leader in their minds.  I am finding all my new responsibilities very stressful and I don’t know what to do.”

I was sitting there, I watched her move from across the room, and I knew that I wanted to talk with her.  She looked interesting, energetic, alive.

So I walked past her, up to the counter, to get another cup of coffee, I glanced over at her, relaxed, focused my gaze on her, and immediately I noticed her neclace.

“Hi, I’ve been admiring your necklace from across the room, did you make it?”

She looked at me, saw that I was sincere, and then we started talking.

In the next 25 minutes, I learned that she bought it on a trip to Virginia Beach, and that she goes there 2 times a year.  Once with her friends, once with her family.

We talked until she had to get back to work, she would have given me her number if I had asked, she hinted several times, and she said she hoped that we would bump into each other again.    We did, I introduced her to Carol, and she became a friend of ours.

“All of the good ones are taken.”

So why did she open up like that?   I didn’t “NLP” or “seduce” her.

How to easily and naturally get rapport.

“When you meet someone, keep in mind that you meet their heart, their body, their mind.”

I tied all three of those together.  I gave her a genuine compliment, asked a question I wanted the answer to, and centered it all around something SPECIFIC about her.  This something specific could be about a thing she has or activity she does.

Compliment = heart.

Question = mind.

Necklace = body.

You can use this “method” to meet just about anyone, and if you are genuine with it, you can get invited deep into their world.

How to form a mastermind.

1. What EXACTLY do you want?

It is VITAL that you answer THIS WITH IMAGES.  Or you will leak energy – ooze it all over the rug.  Keep reading.

Most people make “what they want” an auditory answer.  In the recordings you will here how “what I wanted” went from “losing 40 pounds”(A TYPICAL auditory answer) to “getting as FIGHTING FIT as I was when I was in my 20′s.  Notice the difference between “losing 40 pounds” and “getting as FIGHTING FIT  as I was in my 20′s FEELS.

Power point: NOTICE that FIRST I refined the words.  THEN,  I went to Mom and got actual PICTURES of me FIT AND TRIM in my 20′s, and I got PICTURES of 40 year old men who were fit and tough, and put them around my office.  Then I got CREATIVE with them.    (Note: I weighed 260 when I developed and first began to utilize Monkey Motivation.  Today I am at than 197 pounds.)

Monkey’s SEE what they want, then THEY GO BANANAS OVER IT!  So do HUMANS.  But if we only TALK about change, then….   the energy leaks.

Note: In the Monkey Motivation recordings I share EVEN MORE OF the biggest mistakes people make at this point.

ONWARD!

2. How does what you want (THE PICTURE) fit in with the rest of your life?

If what you want DOESN’T fit well with the rest of your life, you will OOZE energy and lose motivation.

Notice this:

THE REAL SECRET OF WHY MOST SMOKERS NEVER QUIT – and how that impacts YOUR motivation.

Think about this, Most cigarette smokers have built their ENTIRE social life, and way of approaching people AROUND CIGARETTES.  Same with many BEER DRINKERS.

The main reason most of them can’t take action (quit), is because THEY UNCONSCIOUSLY know that their social life will be radically disrupted.   So….  if you want your motivation to MAX OUT, you’ve got to factor in – how does “what I PICTURE” fit in with the rest of my life.

Key: The smoker and drinker MUST come to terms with the FACT that they will have to design in NEW ways of socializing. If they decide to do that, and do it, THEN quitting smoking and drinking IS EASY.  Their motivation skyrockets and their energy soars.

Key: Notice that AA meetings are “very social”.  No drinkers, but tons of smokers.   They have it about HALF RIGHT.

3. What behaviors SUPPORT this achievement?

Note:   Not cause.   You will hear EXACTLY WHY you have to eliminate the word CAUSE from your vocabulary, IF YOU WANT to get motivated, stay motivated and SUCCEED WILDLY.

In this section, you will hear how EATING CAKE helped me get to my weight target back then.  I went from 260 to 220. BOOM!  Today, I use the SAME approach, and I am now down to 197.

4. I  am going to keep this step a secret. It’s spelled out very well on the BONUS RECORDING.

Note: Okay, I’ll share a bit of it.  Your daily BEHAVIORS will have changed, AFTER you get to your target.   TO TAP INTO their ENERGY, and to STAY MOTIVATED, there is a MONKEY MOTIVATION secret you need to know.

Today at 197 – lean and mean, I Spring out of bed, and SPRINT up hills now. Back at 260, I flopped out of bed, and preferred to almost ROLL DOWN hills. Getting THAT understanding in the beginning WILL AMP your motivation.

The Power of The REAL Reason Why….

This quick 3 minute read begins with a paragraph from our Insider Course I get asked a lot about:
